Suitable candidates are required immediately for an expanding Contact Centre, responsible for handling telephone enquiries from tenants about a range of issues, including rent arrears, housing applications, housing allocations and repairs to properties. The role will include taking the initial telephone call and providing the appropriate advice immediately, or liaising with a third party in order to find out the correct information. Full training will be provided relaying to the Housing knowledge that will be required to undertake the role, however previous experience working within a Contact Centre or an environment where dealing with customers over the telephone has been a large part of a role, is essential. The role will suit experienced Contact Centre Advisors or candidates who have worked on a busy switchboard or dealt with customers, internally or externally, over the telephone. The posts will commence initially for 25 hours per week (daytime) whilst the 4-6 weeks training is undertaken. Beyond this stage, once a level of competency is established, the posts will be 35 hours per week (daytime). The posts are excellent opportunities for candidates with telephone based customer services experience to gain Housing experience, within an established organization, dedicated to delivering excellent levels of customer service within the public sector.
